Welcome to St Joseph of the Hills Catholic Church

We are a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth of young people in Eden, North Carolina. Our mission is to empower the youth to live their faith and serve others with compassion and love.

We organize various community service projects to instill the value of serving others and making a positive impact in our local community.

The youth group meets every first and third Sunday at 4:00PM in the Church Hall. All ages are welcome to attend, as well as any parents.

 

SACRAMENTS

Sacrament of Baptism   Register for Baptism at least months before the celebration.

Sacrament of Marriage    Couples must register six months prior to the celebration.

Sacrament of reconciliation-confession   Saturday at 4:00PM-4;30PM or by appointment.

Sacrament of the Sick  Persons who are seriously ill, anticipating surgery or are weakened because of prolonged illness or advanced age are encouraged to receive this Sacrament.  Contact the Rectory at 336-623-2662.

WEEKLY OFFERINGS

If you are unable to attend the Mass on Saturday or Sunday and wish to make an offering, you can send your offering to the church.  Please address any checks to:  St. Joseph of the Hills, 316 Boone Road, Eden, NC 27288.

SPANISH CHARISMATIC GROUP

Spanish Charismatic Prayer group has decided to discontinue at this time.

 

LADIES GUILD

The ladies guild would like to invite all ladies of the parish to join the guild if you are interested in helping with projects for the community and church.  Dues are $15.00 yearly.  We are presently doing the "Backpack Program" for Douglas Elementary School.  If interested in helping the Ladies Guild contact Deb Lambert at 336-613-4987, or Karen Wakelee at 336-589-9980, or Ruth Boyd at 304-887-3186.  Please consider joining.

THE DIOCESE AS APPROVED THE PLANS FOR THE REBUILD OF THE WALL AROUND THE RECTORY. WAY TO GO JOHN.

  YOUTH BINGO NIGHT

THE NEXT YOUTH GTOUP MEETING IS ON JANUARY 5TH AT 4:00PM IN THE CHURCH HALL.  WE ARE PLANNING A BOWLING EVENT IN FEBRUARY.  ANYONE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE YOUTH GROUP ARE INVITED TO COME AND HAVE FUN.

HELP REBUILD THE WALL

We are looking for donations to help rebuild the wall  located alongside the Rectory.  All donations should be addressed  and mailed to St. Joseph of the Hills, 316 Boone Road, Eden, NC 27288
